The Future of Fashion Retail

In my previous blog post I presented a Prezi highlighting my insights and findings on 3D printing in regards to the future of manufacturing and retail. I defined the process of 3D printing and outlined the motivations behind it. I also looked into companies such as Adidas and Nike who have explored their possibilities and options in creating 3D printed products. Since commencing my research I have felt unsettled as to which direction I should take my digital artefact. I have assessed the pros and cons of my research, coming to the conclusion that my research report will focus on the benefits this progression will have towards our shopping experience rather than the implications upon manufacturing industries.
